X01T Release Date
I went to the Softbank shop today, and I asked when the X01T is going to come out. The shop clerk said it will come out on December 8th, but I will have to pre-order it.
Good news for those who waited for the cool device for a long time!

I too am interested in this product but was wondering if the plethora of problems experienced by European customers (hibernation issues among many other glitches - if I remember correctly) have been ironed out. Anyone know if that was the reason why softbank have held back its launch for a number of months?

I'm new here - I just picked up the X01T on Saturday, and am still working through the kinks! It's pretty sturdy though as long as you don't mind all the kanji menu's and lack of English support.
I was thinking of popping in to the user group night on Wednesday - do I need to sign up for anything for that? I'd be happy to let others have a look at it, as it certainly isn't cheap!! I could probably use some advice on a few things too as it's my first WM phone.
As for the reason that Softbank held back... there could be a couple of reasons. Office 2007 support has only just been added by Microsoft, and also I've been very impressed with how well Softbank mail has been implemented, so maybe they were working on that.
3 month delay was awfully long though...
I'm pretty sure they sorted out those problems.
Though the delay was long, it's better that they release it with bugs ironed out. :D
