Next Windows Mobile Japan User's Evening - Tuesday 22nd January

Best wishes for 2008 to all readers! I'm expecting an even more exciting year for Windows Mobile in Japan in 2008!

The next Windows Mobile Japan User's Evening will be on 22nd January from 7pm.

We'll be devoting the full evening to discussion among all the attendees so there will be plenty of time to get questions answered and share tips and tricks. I'll go into more detail on the 10 power users tips I presented last month for anyone interested or anyone who couldn't make the presentation.

Even if you don't own a smart phone, but are interested to learn more, please come along.

[Event] Windows Mobile Japan UG Evening #1 - Wednesday 12th December 2007

On September 22nd Softbank released the X02HT – the first smart phone device in Japan with an English interface. This opened up the market to English speakers who didn’t want to an interface in Japanese. Many people dashed out to purchase the new device adding to the community of users already using Windows Mobile devices from Willcom, Softbank, DoCoMo and e-Mobile. Now many more people are experiencing the fun, efficiency and productivity increases from mobile access to e-mail, PIM data and full web browsing!

This new community will gather at the Pink Cow on December 12th to share tips and tricks on how to make the most of Windows Mobile smart phones. If you are a Windows Mobile device owner and want to learn how to make more of your device or you are not yet an owner and just want to learn more, join on the 12th for the biggest Windows Mobile event for the international community in and around Tokyo.

Microsoft Seminar: Revolutionalizing Communication with 3G/Wifi device and Softphone

Since nowadays, people are actively communicating with customers and workers in and out of the company through 3G/Wifi devices and Softphone, it is important to learn the security measures and learn the balance between security and mobility. This seminar introduces how to securely and effectively have office communication through 3G/Wifi devices, softphone, and Windows Mobile devices.

The event takes place on September 14th, from 1:30PM to 5:00PM in UDX Gallery in Akihabara. All the seminar will be in Japanese.

Mobile & Embedded DevCon Japan

One of the biggest events on the calendar for Windows Mobile and Windows Embedded is coming up on 6th June at Meguro Gajoen, Tokyo. Especially with the number of Windows Mobile phones on the market steadily increasing and more come come this year it should be an exciting conference for anyone lookng to work with the platform.
